Some exciting
opportunities have opened up within the Cycle Right programme and the larger Coaching
& Education department of Cycling Ireland. We are currently recruiting for
the roles of Programme Administrator, Schools Development Coordinator, and
Coach Education Administrator.
Programme
Administrator
The Programme
Administrator is responsible for the efficient administration and support of
established participation programmes, including the national standard for cycle
safety training delivered in collaboration with the Department of Transport and
the RSA. The role ensures smooth programme delivery, accurate record-keeping,
and effective communication with trainers, participants and stakeholders.
Schools
Development Coordinator
The Schools
Development Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the quality and
growth of national school‑based
cycling programmes. This will include evaluating current programmes and
developing new programmes, as well as producing educational materials, managing
digital content, and ensuring strong communication with stakeholders and
delivery partners.
Coach
Education Administrator
The Coach
Education Administrator is responsible for the administrative functions of the
Cycling Ireland coach education pathway and support and coordination of both
education and participation programmes.
These roles support
the effective running of established programmes within Cycling Ireland. The
programmes in question offer the chance for thousands of participants to learn
to cycle, develop essential skills on the bike, and navigate short road
journeys confidently. Furthermore, our Coaching courses and pathways provide the
capacity for personal and professional development by offering quality cycling
coaching in a variety of levels and disciplines.
